Show Us Your Kit
Here at Newcastle Drum Centre, we dont just sell drums, we live, sleep, eat and breathe them. Sometimes it feels a little bit like we have created drum porn with the new site having so many images of kits and pieces, but thats not quite the same as pictures of your kit setup or even with you playing it.
We’d love for you to send in pictures to us so we can include them here on this page, so go on, get sending!

| Our first customer kit comes in from Paul Twornicki, who says:
Here’s some pics of my kit. As you can see It’s a bit different. It’s a Peavey Radial Pro kit. The original RBS-1 series. I also own a site dedicated to these beauties, www.peaveydrums.moonfruit.com
The cymbals are a mix of Paiste series from a PST 3 Splash to a 504 Power Ride with a couple of signature crashes and a 2000 china.
As you can tell I love ‘em.

Our next kit is from Dave Marshall, who says:
What we have here is my 7 piece Yamaha Stage Custom. The heads have been changed to Remo pinstripes on the toms, Remo Ambassador on the snare and an Evans E-MAD2 on the bass. The cymbals are mostly Sabian XS20 however the hats are Zyldjian A-Custom MasterSound (sweet!) and there is a couple of Stagg trashes (don’t knock them till you’ve tried them). There’s a DW 4000 double bass peddle providing the bottom end thud and almost hidden is a Mapex Black Panther steel shell Tribal snare which I use for gigs (no mike required – so the sound man says, this drum cuts like a knife!). I play with Vic Firth 5A Extreme sticks.

I’m currently using a PDP FS Series kit in a black to blue fade. I love the sound of birch drums and this is a great kit. Most of the hardware is Pearl which I find very reliable and I also use a DW5000 bass drum pedal. The cymbals are all Sabian AAX as I like a bright, responsive sound. Finally, the snare is a Pearl ‘Chad Smith’ signature snare drum with a great tone, with or without a zero ring. I’ve been buying drums and equipment from Newcastle Drum Centre for years and have always found the staff to be very helpful and knowlegdable. Keep rocking dudes!
