Gretsch G4000 Series Snare Drum - Hammered Antique Copper
The Hammered Antique Copper snare drum from Gretsch is part of the G4000 Series and comes fitted with a 100% copper shell which is 1.1mm thick, is rolled, and then welded with a clean, durable seam. The shell is then uniformly hammered over the entire surface. Due to the combination of copper material and hammered texture, the shell produces a fundamentally dark and dry tone. The shell also features a 40-degree bearing edge and is finished in an antiqued patina. Some extra features include Lightning throw-off, top and bottom die-cast hoops, 'Snap-In' key holder and 42-Strand snare wire (20-strands on 13" snare). Also, this snare drum is available in three different sizes you can choose from: 13" x 6", 14" x 5" and 14" x 6.5".
