Gretsch G4000 Series Solid Aluminum Shell Snare Drum
The Solid Aluminum snare drum from Gretsch is part of the G4000 Seriesna and comes fitted with a cast shell that goes through a machining process. These shells are 3mm thick at the shell wall and 5mm thick at the each edge and have 45-degree bearing edges. The insides are finished with a buffing process, but are not polished. Some extra features include Lightning throw-off, top and bottom die-cast hoops, 'Snap-In' key holder and 42-Strand snare wire (20-strands on 13" drums). Also, this snare drum comes in a choice of three sizes: 13" x 6", 14" x 5" and 14" x 6.5".
