Gretsch G4000 Series Snare Drum - Solid Spun Brass Shell 

The Solid Spun Brass snare drum from Gretsch is part of the G4000 series and it comes fitted with a heavy, spun brass shell, which is not casted, but spun into form using high centrifugal force. These shells are seamless and 3mm thick with a straight shell wall. Both top and bottom edges are rounded except at the snare bed where it is flat. The interiors of the shells feature a natural finish, and are not polished.  Some extra features include Lightning throw-off, top and bottom die-cast hoops, 'Snap-In' key holder and 42-Strand snare wire. Also, this snare drum is available in two different sizes you can choose from: 14" x 5" and 14" x 6.5".
