These cymbals from Paiste are part of the Giant Beat Seriesn which were developed during the 1960’s rapid expansion of popular music, and now they were faithfully recreated and re-launched by Paiste in 2005. The Giant Beat cymbals feature a fairly dark, warm and breathy sound along a medium wide range and a slightly complex mix. They also provide a very responsive, soft feel which makes them ideally suited for a wide range of musical styles. Also well-suited for mallet applications.
