The Kpanlogo is very historically important in Africa, usually used for traditional ceremonies in the West Africa. The Kpanlogo is similar in height to a djembe and looks quite like a conga, it has a very durable unshaven goats skin head stretched over the top of the drum and held in place with wooden pegs. They are often played in a part of a African band with Djembes and congas.
