The Yamaha 9000 Recording Custom was launched at NAMM 2016. This brand new series was designed with famous drummer, Steve Gadd. The process of designing and building has taken 3 years; lots of care and attention went into creating the exquisite 9000 series. Whilst channeling some features from the popular Recording Custom series, this new drum kit has been redesigned with modern techniques. Built with 6-ply all north american birch drum shells which produce a focused sound that is complimented with an enhanced, rounded and deeper tone. Featuring 30 degree bearing edges, high tension lugs to enhance lower frequencies and Yamaha's YESS mount. This Yamaha 9000 Recording Custom is ideal for all music situations including recording and live performances. The perfect versatile drum kit for any drummer.
