Yamaha Music introduce Yamaha 9000 Recording Custom 4 Piece Shell Pack in a fantastic Real Wood finish. Crafted using 100% 6-ply North American Birch Shell which has an overall lower tonal range than a Maple shell would. The 6-ply Birch is sourced from North America and creates a sound that is loud and punchy with the ability to cut through sound with no effort at all!  With an average midrange and punchy, low style edge. Boosted high frequencies are also a staple of all Birch Shells and are one of the main draws of this hardwood; crisply enhanced, these frequencies rise above the sound and this coupled with a cutting ability makes for one heck of a sound from this drum kit! The Birch shell is finished in a Real Wood finish and is complimented by chrome fittings, it is a real classic beauty and will fit in with a range of style it is that versatile!

This shell pack features 30 degree Bearing Edges as well as Hi-Tension Lugs. The Hi-Tension lugs are weighted to enhance lower frequencies, they have a springless casing design which offers noise-free control and is a modern edition which really does enhance the sound produced from this drum kit. 30 degree bearing edges deliver sharp, definitive response whilst also having a wide tuning range. In addition, to this the Mounted Toms and Floor Toms have YESS Mount technology embedded. YESS mounts reduce the contact between the shell and mount and allows the shell to vibrate without jeopardising or interfering with the sound.
